This is official site of Black Water Dive® produced by photographer Ryo Minemizu. Black Water Dive® is a kind of night diving. We are setting up underwater lights of high-color rendering on the sea bottom of night that while considering tides, times, places. The creature which appears is mainly juveniles and larvae. All is fascinating, and it's not to be seen at daytime or regular night diving. It will be your first experience. Nisto Stage Larvae of Slipper Lobster

Nisto Stage Larvae of  Parribacus antarcticus (Lund, 1793). This individual was seen at Black Water Dive® of Kume Is. Location is south coast of Kume Is. It's close to the Kanegusuku port. (16th, Oct 2015)

Vertical length of the about 60mm.
Depth of about 10m.

Body's semi-transparent, but rather it takes on golden color.

The interior of the body has become considerably white.
Perhaps,  I think it's for molting soon.

The presence of six teeth on the lateral margin of second antenna from this photo. Parribacus japnicus Holthuis, 1960 has five teeth on the lateral margin of second antenna. (Yoneyama & Takeda, 1998)

Behavior of Parribacus antarcticus
Generally, forward swimming.
sometime, somersault while doing a back bridge.
It's radius is about 15 cm.
