July and August offer the most favorable conditions for Blackwater Diving in Kume Island, as the sea is generally calm and stable during this period. However, occasional typhoons may occur, which can prevent diving for about 4–5 days. If your schedule allows, staying for about 10 days to two weeks will give you ample opportunity to fully enjoy the Blackwater experience.

We are currently accepting tentative reservations with priority given to repeat guests. Official reservations are scheduled to begin around the end of November.

Participation Requirements :

To determine eligibility for participation, we may ask for detailed information about your diving experience and skill level in advance.

As a general guideline, participants should have prior drift diving experience and at least 120 logged dives, including a minimum of 20 night dives.
Divers with fewer than 120 dives may still be accepted if our staff determines that participation is safe and appropriate.

Additional requirements include the ability to manage your own dive profile, such as depth and time limits, maintain perfect neutral buoyancy, and strictly observe no-decompression limits.

Priority will be given to divers who have participated in equivalent Blackwater Dive® experiences in other locations, for example those organized by DIVE ESTIVANT in Kume Island or in Anilao in the Philippines, Hawaii, Florida, or Cozumel.

Please note that participation is subject to skill level verification and specific eligibility criteria set by the organizer.

7月と8月は比較的海況が安定し、凪の日が多く続くため、久米島でのブラックウォーターダイビングに最も適したシーズンです。ただし、この時期はまれに台風が発生することもあり、その影響で4〜5日間ほど潜れない場合があります。
日程に余裕のある方は、10日から2週間ほど滞在していただくと、十分にブラックウォーターダイビングを満喫できるでしょう。

【参加条件】

参加可否を判断するため、事前に経験やスキルの詳細をお伺いする場合があります。参加の目安は、ドリフトダイビングの経験があり、総ダイブ本数120本以上（うちナイトダイビング20本以上）であることです。経験本数が120本に満たない場合でも、スタッフが安全に参加可能と判断した場合はご参加いただけます。 その他の条件として、自己管理ができること（水深・時間の遵守）、中性浮力を完全にコントロールできること、そして無減圧潜水を厳守できることが求められます。 また、他地域でのブラックウォーターダイブ®と同等の経験をお持ちの方を優先いたします（例：久米島ダイブエスティバン主催のブラックウォーターダイブ®、フィリピン・アニラオ、ハワイ、フロリダ、コスメルなどでの同等経験者）。 なお、ご参加いただくにあたってはスキルレベルの確認および独自の参加制限を設けております。 ※ご案内の内容は予告なく変更する場合があります。
